Why doesn't my iphone work when i call people?
When I call people on my iphone without speaker, I hear nothing at all from the person or the dial tone. When I have it on speaker, it works perfectly fine. I just bought this iphone 3 weeks ago and I didn't drop it. What's wrong with my iphone?
Added (1). It's an iphone 4 and I've just updated it. I'll give it time to update and see if it works.

What iphone is it? You may have just got a defective one. However there was at one point an issue like this but it was fixed with an update. Do you have the latest update? You can always bring it to where you purchased it or go to apple store and have it looked at.
Definitely weird, is your headset plugged in? Bad headset? Its new so take it back and they will replace it if its defective for some reason.
The ear piece speaker thing doesn't work. Probably broken.

Sometimes it will say ''calling -enternamehere-'' but there's no ringing or anything and it could stay like that for hours if I just never hit end call. - Why is it when people call my iPhone they show up UNKNOWN? I got my iphone a couple weeks ago. At first I thought it may just be something that would go away within time. But it hasn't. I have a iPhone 4 and whenever someone calls my phone they show up as unknown or blocked. I tried tiring it off for half an hour then tiring it on, then I tried to take out my SIM card and wait half an hour to turn it on again. Please, if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
