Why is it when people call my iPhone they show up UNKNOWN?
I got my iphone a couple weeks ago. At first I thought it may just be something that would go away within time. But it hasn't. I have a iPhone 4 and whenever someone calls my phone they show up as unknown or blocked. I tried tiring it off for half an hour then tiring it on, then I tried to take out my SIM card and wait half an hour to turn it on again. Please, if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
Mostly likely is from a different country. Whenever I get a call from one of my relatives in Cuba it comes out as "UNKNOWN".
If it was a *67 call you would probably see something like "Restricted" or the like.
You need to add the phone numbers of your friends and family to your contacts list to have them show up and not as unknown. If you have their phone numbers added you may need to add the area code to their phone number and it should stop all of the phone numbers from coming up as unknown.
- Will it show up as a missed call if i call someone by accident for half a ring? So I accidentally called my ex on his iphone, but I quickly realized my mistake and hung up after a half ring. Like you know how when you're calling someone it rings, I hung up after the first riiiing. My question is, will it show up on his phone as a missed call? I tested it out on 2 friends. One iphone 5 and iphone 4. They both told me they didn't get a call. Am I in the clear?
