Why don't cons realize we need more money for education?

$15, 000 per student per year is nowhere near enough.

Every kid needs there own laptop.
Every kid needs an ipad so they don't have to carry that big heavy laptop.
We need to replace outdated chalkboards with giant touch screens.
Books need to updated regularly. Like at least every 3 months.
We need to replace buses with stretch limos so kids can spread there stuff out and study on the way to school.
We need to get the student-teacher ration down to 2 teachers per student.

Kids can't learn without those things. Just look at how kids learned in olden times and how dumb they were. They didn't even know how to use an iphone or go on Facebook. People in olden times were dumb.

You are so right! Lets take away meals on wheels or better yet, let's have all the VA hospitals closed, THEN we'll surely have enough money!

Raised in "olden times" I have enough education to note your sarcasm… Most "Cons" don't have a problem with money actually spent on EDUCATION, it's our concern with the fact that most of the money we pour into the education system keeps going to big fat administration costs and other amusing things.

Every Teacher needs to work only 4 days a week… Need that "service day" for grading homework, holding union meetings, and planning their Summers.
Every District needs 2 administrators for every 5 teachers… Got to organize the sensetivity courses, schedule union meetings, and plan protests and strikes.

What teachers unions NEED to do is stop protecting ancient, senile, and poor teachers from layoffs, and start going to a MERIT system - good teachers stay and idiots have to find a new job.

Schools are nothing but liberal indoctrination facilities. Doesn't matter how much money you dump into them education takes a back seat to making sure kids grow up to be good little mindless socialist liberal democrat voters.
