Why don't I receive emergency alerts on my iPhone 5c?
I have gone to settings>notifications and turned on emergency alerts, but I've never received them. My friends also have iPhone 5c/5s and it works for them. I've tried turing it off and turning off my phone, then turning on my phone & turning it on again but it doesn't work. Can someone help?
Depending on where you live, you won't get an alert for except for maybe once or twice a year. It's not utilized that often. If it was you really wouldn't give as much attention as it needs and just be ignored or blown off. Just leave them on and you'll get one soon enough. Best luck.
I have a iPhone 5c. An amber alert was sent this past weekend. Everyone in the house received it except me.
- Why don't I receive messages unless my cellular data is on? I got this iPhone 3 months ago. It's the 5th one. This constant problem is that sometimes I don't get messages unless my Cellular data is turned on. I need to fix this cause its really annoying. Like for example 10 ppl texted me on Christmas Day saying merry Christmas. On January 4 I turned on cellular data while in my car & then I got them all! And it's crazy because It had the date of Christmas & the exact time.
- Why don't I receive alerts or a notification when I receive a text and I already checked my settings? I adjusted my setting and even put the ringer and notifications on and put the volume and ringer on and I receive no alert, no pop up, alert or notification when someone texts me. Why? This is the iPhone X! I went to the cell phone/ carrier store and they didn't help me. They said to go to the apple store or check the settings. I already adjusted the settings. So what do I do now?

- Why don't email alerts show on my iPhone? I just set up my phone yesterday do I'm new to it. Basically I logged into my Gmail account on the Mail app but for some reason new emails only appear when I go into the app and refresh the page manually. My mum has an iPod touch so I know that you can get them. I went into settings > notifications > mail and changed it so that the alerts should appear but they don't… It's an iPhone 4S if that helps.
