Why don't people like iPhones?
Everyone's always complaining that iPhone isn't as cool and sucks a ton.
IPhones is just a symbol of insecurity. I feel a though people only have iphones not because of the quality or performance but because of the high price and want to appear cool.
Those people are what we like to call doody-heads.
Who
Apple phones are a lot more basic design than android phones for example. They are simpler and seem easier for the user, but so are android phones, if you get used to them. IPhones though because of this lose out on a lot of personalisation features that are better on android phones.
iPhones are also really expensive for seemingly no reason while you can get a just as good android for cheaper.
iPhones while they work with Macs well they have specific charging ports only for Apple products that are expensive while android usually use a standard one and android bases their functions off Google. Meaning while apple may seem like everything is in one place, on an android you can have Google photos, Google docs, Google drive that back up to your email and can access anywhere.
iPhones seem basic and expensive from what you get from them.
The main reason I personally don't like iOS is because Apple heavily locks down what you can and can't do with it. With iOS, you can't download files through Safari. Moving files around is more difficult than it should be. The built-in file manager app on iOS is rudimentary compared to what a file manager on Android can do. When I used to use an iPhone, I would have to use iTunes on the PC to copy my music over. However, on my Android phones, I can just drag and drop my music files without any other software. Hell, I can even plug in a USB-C flash drive to my Galaxy Note 8 and copy files very easily. Apple won't let you do that.
If Apple would make their iOS a bit more "free" in the sense of allowing more customization options, better file management, etc, then it might convince me to switch over. Until then, I'll prefer Android.
Another thing that I find amusing is that Apple (I'm not sure if they still do) would always tout the iPad as being a desktop/laptop replacement. However, iOS doesn't have any mouse support (maybe in iOS 13?). The touch interface is great for somethings, but sometimes having a mouse is beneficial. And same thing with the whole file management issue. If an iPad is going to be a computer "killer", then I'd expect it to be able to easily copy files through a flash drive and not rely on cloud services or having to use iTunes to move stuff around.
Personally, I like mine quite a bit.
Maybe they don't want one
Most of the time it's because they can't afford one.
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why don't many people like the iPhone 5c? The iPhone 5c isn't really the best phone. It acts like any other iPhone. I have a 5c. It's cheap. So if people don't have very much money. This would be a great phone. Apple doesn't show many commercials about it anymore. It's people just hate it. What's wrong with it?
- Why don't iPhones work well? IPhones break easily and are laggy? Hi. I have an iPhone 5 and I have many problems with it. Whenever I type on my iPhone 5, the texts that I type come out like 5 seconds after I type them. It's very unresponsive and lagging. My previous iPhone broke in just 2 years. Is Nokia a better brand than Apple?
- Why do some teen with iPhones make fun of people who don't have one? Like I would get it if you were an adult and you paid for the iPhone. But teens and kids? No! Most teens do not pay the bill for their iPhone so why should they make fun of other teens who don't have one?
