Why is astrology so accurate?

I don't know but like now I'm obsessed with it! I think it's because it's so true. Like I got an app thing on my iPhone and it tells my compatibility with the other signs and my daily horoscope and sometimes it's way off but mostly it's true. It's so weird and creepy but really cool. I'm an Aquarius and everything it says is true I'm crazy and original! Now like I'm asking everybody's birthdays and checking our compatibility and its so interesting. I guess what I'm asking here is why am I so obsessed and why is it so freakishly accurate? And should I stop because I read somewhere that astrology might be from the devil so?

All the horoscopes i've seen have been so vague that they could apply to anyone.

Uhmm first of all i have NEVER heard that astrology is from the devil. Second of all astrology is NOT accurate they just write stuff that they think it may make sense… Third of all you're the only one that knows why your so interested but it sounds like your interested because it's just WEIRD. I guess. Btw i really don't believe that kind of stuff lol. But you can like what ever you want to like people say stuff that are not even true.

some astrology, though, is completely made up. Your compatibility with another person has nothing to do with your birthday. It depends on the person themselves.

All I have to tell you is look into Astrology more… There's much more than "signs" (which is incorrectly used as a reference to the sign occupying your Sun at your time of birth). There's also planets, houses, aspects in your Natal Chart (your birth chart) and Synastry (the comparing of two people Natal Charts) but again you may have no Idea of what I'm talking about…

Learn more about Astrology before you take it to seriously because it may cause misunderstandings, that is the main reason why people call it bull***…

The Apps you are using is just for entertainment, which has nothing to do with "proper" Astrology.

Your wasting your time, the descriptions they use are so generalized that just about anyone can find something in common with them. Try getting to know someone first before asking them their sign, you might be missing out on more than you know, with such a limited view.

So when you are referring to your "zodiac sign" your technically talking about your SUN sign. The sun sign is often referred to as your "soul" or your personality when you are most comfortable/with friends and family. You have a sun, moon, ascendant/rising, mercury, venus, mars and many more planets and aspects that describe your personality.

The "horoscopes" that you can read in newspapers/apps you can only take with a grain of salt because that's only based off your SUN sign. Sun sign astrology is nothing compared to real astrology. This is why some people don't relate to their sun sign, because maybe they have bigger influences from another sign/planet in their chart.
