Why is my cellular data used so fast?
I have an iPhone 5 from Verizon and have a monthly plan of 5GB. I keep using all my data really fast and i don't know why. I do not watch videos too often (1 once a week and they're short aprox 3 mins). I talked to verizon on the phone and in person and they say they can't do anything. I have iOS7 too if that makes a difference. Help me! I turn my data off when I don't need it too.
Running apps in the background?

Yep running apps in background + location turned on + Wi-Fi turned on, try to turn that off!
It could be a number of things, apps running in foreground, heavy app usage, so I suggest checking data usage in settings. Also, if you're running low on data, 4G LTE uses Way more data faster than 3G or even 2G.
When you are not using it, most certainly be sure to turn Cellular Data off. Also, use Wi-Fi when you can (especially for watching videos, downloading files, etc. As that uses a lot of data fast).
Games like Candy Crush, Facebook and other social media apps, etc. All use data and if you do not close them out then they are running in the background.
- Why won't my iPhone 4S load as fast as it used too? B4 I could do things like watch hd videos no problem and now I'm lucky to get 5 seconds of one I have tried restarting my phone and closing my apps and erasing My text but nothing works I'm only using 4.4 GB and its a 16 GB
- Why does my iphone use data over night when cellular data is turned off? Every night I turn off cellular data and leave the iPhone on and one day I wake up and check my data manager and see i have already used 25 MB please help!
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- IPhone 5 charges really fast but loses battery life fast? I have an iPhone 5 with the iOS 8 but since I updates to iOS 7 the battery started to lose rapidly. It would be on 100% in the morning and at about 11 would be down to 40%. It would also only take 2-3 hours to fully charge and I think that's why it's losing power so quickly. Is there a way I can stop that?
