Why aren't texts coming through on my iphone?
For some reason some of my messages aren't coming through on my Iphone 4s. Yesterday I was texting a few people, no more than usual, and turned my phone on and off again at around 11pm to receive all my responses that were sent at around 3pm. I keep having to turn my phone on and off again so my messages will come through. Is there a setting where this can be stopped? My messages from fellow iphone users come through as usual.
I suggest you clear the phones RAM by holding the lock button and the home button together for ten seconds until you see the apple logo and then release buttons and allow the phone to start.
Once the phone is rebooted hopefully the message problems should subside however if they do not i would suggest you either take the phone into the store or phone your network provider.
It is an issue with your iMessage settings. You need to go into iMessage and switch the message settings to "send as SMS message." This is how you do it:
1. Ensure that iMessage is turned on in Settings > Messages.
2. Make sure your device must have a valid cellular or Wi-Fi data connection.
3. IMessage registration validates your Apple ID for use with iMessage.
4. If an iMessage can't be sent, it will be resent using SMS or MMS, depending on the content. You can turn this behavior on or off in Settings > Messages > Send As SMS. Carrier messaging rates may apply.
Verify that the Apple ID or phone number is listed in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.
- Why won't my texts go through? I haven't been able to contact my friend in about 2 weeks. I mean everytime i send a text i get a message saying "This Customer you are trying to reach is temporarily out of service MSG 2110" Can't call her eithetr. She can only get texts from other iphones but no other androids. She has paid her phone bill. She said she wasn't blocking me and i was wondering if there was a fix for it? It all started after she updated to ios7

- Why is my Iphone 4 not showing the contact names on my in-coming texts? I'm having this issue with my Iphone 4 after updating. Suddenly my text messages are not displaying the contact name, but rather just the phone number of the person sending the text. It always displayed the senders name prior to updating, and now I can;t get it to return doing so. I've tried rebooting my phone and tried to look up some info on the net, but nothing seems to work to get it back. Has anyone experienced anything similar and if so, how did you fix the issue.
- Why does my iPhone sometimes send texts to other iPhones as iMessages then regular texts to iPhones? Like when I send a text to my friend that has an iphone, it usually sends as an iMessage then it will randomly send as just a regular text and it will be green and not blue.
