Why is my iphone 4 saying invalid sim after i have reset it… Any help?
If your iPhone was jailbreaked before, and you reset it or update it with legitimate iTunes software, that undo the jailbreak so then your local sim is no longer useful.
I mean, if you bought the iPhone outside your country, or bought it in used condition, it may have been jailbreaked so when you reset it, the original iOS loaded into it and no longer let you use your local operator SIM, you have to jailbreak it again in order to get any sim working again.
If the iPhone is factory unlocked, you should be sure about if your sim is working or not, try to use it in another phone, if the SIM isn't working, you must go to your operator office and ask them for a new SIM card, they can give you another one with the same number.
Sounds like your iPhone was unlocked via a software method, like ultrasn0w (which requires a jailbreak prior)
After you restored it you lost that, hence why it would be locked again to whatever was the original carrier.
