Why Is My iPhone Only Showing GMT Time?

I locked my sim card, and had to contact my phone company for that unlock code, but after i unlocked it the time was wrong. It doesn't update to eastern time zone, its only on GMT time and when i manually change it it affects my imessage and i need imessage.i've tried everything, restoring to factory settings and its still not working. I've tried the the system services and its on and still not working. Help please

Change your time settins to pst in settings

I'm having the exact same problem! When I turn set automatically off, and try to chose time zone, no matter what city I chose (ie New York, Ny) it still only comes up GMT. The only way I can fix the time is to manually change it, but then I get the same imessage setting.So frustrating!

  • Verizon iPhone 5s only showing 3G? Happened a couple weeks ago. My iphone just wouldn't go back to 4g. It seems like it's 4g speeds though the internet and stuff still loads really fast it just doesn't show lte like it usually does just 3G. Is this a SIM card problem or what?
  • Twitter updates only showing on e-mail? So when I turn on my iPhone, twitter updates show up saying so and so favortied my tweet or retweeted my tweet and things like that. But when I go into twitter, it doesn't show up. I'll try to see who favorited my tweet, and it will only show the first person who favorited it. When I go to my e-mail, it will say people favorited and retweeted as well. But on both my iPhone and computer they don't show up. Any way to fix this?
  • Clocks go forward at 1am (GMT), what happens if I set an alarm on my iPhone 4S? The clocks are going forward and I was wondering if my phone will pick up on my alarm being set at my time (7am) or if the phone won't change and it will only wake me up at 8am. Do I set my alarm TONIGHT for 6am (7am tomorrow) or just set it as 7am? Sorry if this was complicated
  • My iphone's lock screen is gone only the wallpaper is showing I got ios7 early and it constantly glitches! The lock screen is gone ( the slide to unlock and all that!) Only wallpaper and status bar is visible
