Why is my iPhone playing up?
I have an iPhone 4S, but since downloading the iPhone 5 software it's been playing up loads and seems to gradually be getting worse. First of all when sending texts to other iPhone users it was showing up as my email address, the only way I could get this to stop was my turning off the iMessage. Lately though my phone has just been really slow and crashy, it shuts certain apps down when I do certain things on them, it won't even let me take a picture forwards way, but will let me take one with the inside lens. I've tried deleting my Internet history, text messages, calling history and a few apps but it's still playing up. I don't want to reset my phone because then it will delete my contacts too.
Any suggestions?
Try holding down the home screen button and the lock button for about 15 seconds. It will switch off eventually then turn it on again. This sometimes fixes problems i have which my ipod touch

It won't play any videos or music and even when I go to play music is doesn't give me the option to adjust the volume like there's no volume. Can anyone help me out?
- Why isn't my iPhone 4s not playing any sounds? I can play music only through my headphones, but once I pull them, no sound is made. When I hit the +&- buttons, the volume widget pops up without the volume meter bar.
