Why is the iphone 4 selling for 99 cents?
I saw the add on the At&t website and I couldn't believe it. There must be something to it. Does anyone know why it's being sold for such a ridiculously cheap price?

Because you buy that based on your credit if you have bad credit you can't get it plus you have to pay for the service.
Maybe a rip off
Because they improved and now have the iphone 5. You can get a 4s for $50 lol
It is because you are signing up for a 2 year contract. The iPhone 4 is worth about $400 now. Within thoose 2 years you will be paying a slight partion for the bill. Which basically in total is about $428. Also you will have to put a deposit so don't think that it is actually free.

Its free to you, but not the carrier. The carrier pays the cost, and gives it to you free since you are agreeing to use their service for 2 years. Its one of the best deals out there imo.
Because the iphone 5 is now out and newer
The phones might not be working properly, so they are selling them to people who can use the parts. Unworking Iphones get sold on Ebay for really cheap all the time
