Why is the iPhone 5c cheaper than the iPhone 5s?
How come the iPhone 5c is cheaper than the iPhone 5s? Isn't the iPhone 5c a newer brand? I wonder why it's more cheaper than the iPhone 5s
It is cheaper because it does less. The 5c is just the same as the 5 only it has multiple case colours. Apple brought it out for people that can't afford the 5s with all it's newest functions.
People have started to realize how overpriced the iPhones are for what they can do. They are loosing business because the samsung galaxy s series phones have always done more and done it better then iPhones at a lower price so this is apples way of trying to bring customers back without giving them more.
I think it's because of the material. As you can see, Iphone 5c is mostly made of plastic and Iphone 5s is mostly made from aluminium.
Neither phone is newer, the 5c and 5s came out on the same day.
And the 5c is cheaper because it's plastic, has no Touch ID, and a worse camera.
The 5c is practically the same as the iPhone 5, which preceded it. The 5s is a new design with various extra features, such as Touch ID.
