Why is the unlocked iPhone 5s cheaper on apple.com?

I've been looking for an unlocked iPhone 5s, but I'm seeing different prices. On apple.com, a 16gb unlocked iphone is $650. On amazon its $800. Why are the prices different? And from which site should I buy from?

Amazon is not just shipped/sold by amazon, many others are there to rip off consumers.
Why are you asking such a stupid question? Buy manufacturer direct, especially when cheaper.

Well if it wasn't obvious, the cheaper price & from the company direct is the way to go. As far as why it is more expensive, not sure but its probably just demand jacking up the price.
