Why is virgin mobile so cheap?
They are selling an iphone 5 for $450 and the plan is $35 a month. How? Why? Every other company is like a $100 month or $70 a month at the lowest. What is it that I'm not getting from virgin that the others are apparently selling? Will the service be horribly unreliable or something? I remember owning a VM phone 7 years ago and had good reception then switched to verizon and had poor reception in the same house. I'm so shocked and confused who is ripping me off the expensive guys or the dirt cheap guys?
Because they don't provide the same levels of customer service, they don't have a store in every mall in America like the "larger" more expensive mobile phone carriers. Virgin mobile also doesn't have that many phone choices which are compatible with their network.
Not all phone carriers have the same coverage, you must check your local coverage maps.
Because you pay full price for the phone upfront.
Their plans don't include subsidies and the have far less overhead. They also don't manage or maintain the network they run on.
Virgin has a deal with Sprint. They run over their network. They're actually owned by them.
- Why are virgin mobile iphones so cheap? I've checked online and at radioshack stores for iphone 5c's and 5s's and they are kinda cheaper than the ones everywhere else. I thought they were cheaper because they are cheaply made but i could be wrong. Anyone know why?
- Where can i get the iphone 4s for virgin mobile for cheap? I really want the iphone 4s from virgin mobile but its to expensive for me! If you know of any way i can get it cheaper i will take it my price range goes up to 400!
- What Are Cheap Things On Amazon And Why Are They Cheap? On Amazon.com I've noticed that some things are sold for very cheap (like iPhone cases) but other things like clothes and shoes seem to be full price. What are categories or things that are sold very cheap on Amazon? Why are some things cheap but others full price? Also, how can some things be sold for so cheap when they retail for way more?
- Virgin Mobile or Boost Mobile? I'm moving to Houston this summer and I'm looking for a cheaper cell phone plan. I talk, text, email, fb etc. I had virgin mobile back in 2004 and I love it and had no problem. I have a android galaxy s3 right now which I love but the battery isn't so great. I'm thinking about possibly buying an iPhone. What I'm really looking for is reviews on virgin and boost mobile. If you have any other cheap cell phone plan carrier suggestions I'm up for that too.
