Why isn't iCloud backup returning my camera roll?
I have an iPhone 4s with version 6.1.2. Before I recently restored my iPhone I backed up my camera roll to iCloud. It said there was 3.2GB worth of photos backed up. After I restored my phone and tried to get my camera roll back via iCloud backup they did not show up. The backup still says there's 3.2GB of photos backed up but they're not in my phone so I can see them. I also tried to back it up on my pc but it says the backup is "corrupt or not compatible with the device". Someone please help there were over 1, 000 photos in my camera roll and I'm afraid I'll never get them back.
"Camera roll" - that refers to film… A roll of film. I've never heard any digital photo storage device called a "roll" before - oh well.
Not knowing anything about this outfit… And it's apparently an apple deal, I'm dubious about the outcome. I happen to be one of those that doesn't trust this company.
If you can call them then do so.
Get those photos developed.
- Will restoring from a backup restore my camera roll photos? I did a restore on my iPhone and I forgot to save the pictures of the camera roll and now they are basically gone. If I right click the iPhone on iTunes and click on restore from backup there's the option to pick the backup I want and there's the backup from before the restore. So if I restore from that backup will my photos be restored to my camera roll?
- Why does my iphone no longer save photos to my camera roll? Ever since I had updated my phone to ios 6, i noticed that it no longer saved photos to my camera roll. If I take a picture on Instagram, it will not automatically save it to my camera roll as it used to do, nor does it save any image I want to save from Facebook. It will, however, still save a photo that I take from the phone's camera. It somehow only won't save photos when it is taken through another app or from another source. What can I do to fix this?
- Why does my iPhone 5s keep deleting photos from the camera roll? It's been doing this for a while! Every time I take a new picture, it deletes an old one! EVERY TIME! Like for ever new photo I take or upload, it deletes my oldest one. I thought maybe I need to update my software, and THAT didn't work! I NEED Help! Please and thank you.
- Why does my camera roll say albums and places at the bottom? I have an iphone 4s and when i go to my camera roll, at the bottom it says "albums" and "places" it has never said this before today and id like to get rid of it please help.
