Why isn't my iphone 4 (ios 6.1.3) re-establishing signal?

I have an iphone And when my iphone loses signal it isn't re-establishing it I noticed this once when I was driving in a train underground it says 'no signal' and after I was outside just standing it doesn't re-establish the signal my dads iphone 4 works just fine but not mine. Any ideas?

(My iphone is jailbroken but it is not the jailbreak causing this. I had the issue BEFORE the jailbreak).

Added (3). Airplane mode doesn't help

Try moving the phone in figure 8 and it should make it check again, otherwise flip airplane mode off and back on (easier then turning the phone off).

  • Why isn't the Wi-Fi on my iPhone 4 working, even though the signal is strong? It worked this morning. It worked when I went out for lunch (Starbucks has free Wi-Fi, duh.). And it worked when I went shopping (at Target. However, when I came back home around late afternoon it stopped working. I have Wi-Fi in my house, and even when the signal is strong, it just keep loading it. No usual checkmark that shows it works. The Wi-Fi works fine on my brother's 3DS and we already checked the home computer router. I just don't know what's wrong.

But now I can't catch Wi-Fi from anywhere in my house unless I'm in the room where the router is… I got a new router but as soon as I leave the room (where the router is) my Wi-Fi signal drops! It's not only happening at my home but also at my gram gram's house and my sisters house. It's really frustrating. So I know it's not my router it's my iPhone.

  • Why does my iPhone constantly lose its signal? I have Verizon (6 year customer) and have had my iPhone 4s for 1 year now, however, the past month or so I will be sitting in my house on my phone with 3-4 bars loading a page on the internet or using an app requiring data and I'll just directly go to "no service" (as noted by the small "o" in place of the "3G" icon. Not sure what it is, but my service has been abysmal lately, I've cleared all cache and website data, but nothing seems to be working:/
