Why isn't my iphone turning on? - 1

I have an iphone 4s and i put it in the battery charger for it to charge and i was waiting for the screen to light up, but it didn't and i tried pressing the home button and the lock button but they both arnt working i also tried holding them down and thats not working either. Should i jus give it time to rest?

This happened to me. I plugged it in, unplugged it, plugged it in a different place, and then hot the buttons. If this doesn't work then let it rest for 5 minutes and turn it in. If that doesn't work call tech support

Yeah… Give it some time.sometimes when the battery is really dead, it takes sometime for it to power back on.

Hold the home button and lock button for ten seconds while charging.
