Why my iPhone is sending texts from email?
My parents cut my data off about a month ago, and all I've had to do was just wait to have Wi-Fi to text and it sent iMessages normally until yesterday people were telling me they're getting my texts from email. Also, I'm not getting texts from them unless I text them first. This is so irritating because I don't know what to do.
Either iMessage has grayed out your phone number and it needs to be reset in your iCloud account or not only is your data off, the phone's off. That would explain why your phone number is no good anymore and they can't text you. They can't. Best luck.
