Why is my iphone responding to group texts with my email address?
I just updated my phone and it's started doing this. I also can no longer receive pic messages even though my cellular data is turned on.
Check your "receive at" settings. You should have your phone number there. You can setup an email identifier for texting back and forth with imessage for those using ipods and ipads etc, but if you have a cell phone contract then set it up to be the phone #
- Why can't I use @icloud.com email address after updating to iOS 6? I've updated my iPhone to iOS 6 and according to Apple I'm supposed to receive an @icloud.com email address that matches my @me.com address. But why can't I log in with the supposedly new address?

- Recovering group texts from iPhone 4s? I accidentally deleted my group texts I had with my friends from my iPhone, while looking at my texts. It wasn't just one message, it was the entire group, how can I get it back? I'm not sure if I have my itunes set to backup my iphone? And I know a lot of the texts were from after I last connected my phone to my computer anyway. Is there a way to recover them? For free?
- Not receiving group texts on iPhone 6? There's one person in the group chat without an iPhone and everyone else seems to get all the messages just fine. Everyone else in the chat has an iPhone with the exception of that one other person. IIm not getting any texts from any of them? I upgraded to the new iOS 9.3 to see if it solved the problem. I turned off and on my iMessage lots of times and restarted my phone. Any tips?
