Why there's no task manager in iphone like my previous htc one x?

IPhone is a completely locked down OS ecosystem. This means there's not much at a system level that apple allows developers to write apps for.

Right now the only way to "manage" apps is the app manager by double pressing the home button, then selecting the apps you want to close.

As far as managing system tasks, unfortunately apple does not allow this.

Which one is better: iphone 5s, HTC One, or Galaxy s4? My contract just expired, which means that I'm in the market for a new phone. I'm stuck between the new iphone that was released today and the HTC One. I leaning away from the Galaxy s4, mainly because of its lower ratings and many features that i will not be using.So, in your opinion, which is better: the One or the 5s? Both are gorgeous phones. My Ifun box and copytrans manager doesn't detect my iPhone. Why is it? I have a jail broken iPhone 4s and since I couldn't sync it anymore with iTunes, I downloaded Ifun box and copytrans manager to add music or manage my phone. But when I plug my phone, an error occurred saying apple mobile device driver software installation failed. I have uninstalled iTunes. But I reinstalled the necessary drivers including apple application support and driver. Any help fixing this?
