Why won't bootneuter recognize my SIM card?
I just jailbroke and unlocked my iphone 2g so I could put my Verizon SIM card into it and make it work. But when I put the SIM card in it doesn't recognize it at all. It just tells me that I have no service. Did I do something wrong?
I don't think that your iPhone is a CDMA device. Verizon is a CDMA network.
A T-Mobile or ATT SIM card would work though.
- Will I be able to transfer my contract from a regular Sim card to a Micro Sim card? I want to buy an iPhone 4S on T-mobile, but my current T-mobile sim card is a regular one that would not fit in to the iPhone 4S. Would I be able to somehow move my contract on to the new Micro Sim?

I cut my regular sized sim card to a micro sim. It fits perfectly on the sim card tray of the iphone. However, it says "No Sim". I tried inserting my mom's old sim which is deactivated and it detects it and says "No Service". Why won't the iphone detect my sim? What should i do? FYI, my sim is also a Globe telecom sim.
