Why won't my iPhone 4 software update?
So recently IOS 8 came out and I can't update my iPhone 4 to it, but my friend who has the same phone got the update. Why can't I get it? By the way I checked the software up date on my phone and it says I'm completely updated. Why does this say it on my phone and not my friends? Can I update my phone?
IPhone 4 is not compatible for iOS 8. The last compatible version is iOS 7.1.2. Your friend would be having iPhone 4s hence he/she got the update.
