Why won't my iPhone 5s running iOS 7.0.2 sync with iTunes?

About a week ago, I went up to my local T-Mobile store and ordered a Space Grey 16GB iPhone 5s. It arrived today, and I went up to the store to get my number switched over.

Now, I'm trying to connect it to iTunes, but it won't ever show up.

When I plug it into my PC, it shows up in "Computer", and I can view my photos on it, but it never shows up in iTunes.

Also, after I plug it in, there's a message that is displayed on the screen of the phone asking me if I trust this computer… Which I obviously do, so I tap "Trust". Then, my computer makes the sound indicating that a USB device has been removed, but the iPhone is still visible in Computer, and nothing has changed in iTunes.

How would I fix this? I have already tried all of my USB ports (both 2.0 and 3.0), switched cables, reinstalled iTunes, restarted my computer… The whole thing, but nothing is working!

Are you using the latest version of iTunes…
