Why won't my iPhone connect to my Wi-Fi router?
I just got a TP-LINK wireless nano router and set it up. The ethernet cable is plugged in to the router and the USB cable is connected from the router to my laptop.
My laptop connected fine, but my phone has been trying to connect for the past hour. It says it's connecting but it never does.
The blue light isn't flashing. When I take the ethernet cable out then put it back in it flashes slowly for about 10 seconds then stops and is still. This suggests there's something wrong with the ethernet connection but I have no clue what or what to do.
I considered because it's a mini router that only 1 thing can connect at a time. So I disconnected my laptop but my phone still didn't connect.
I have also tried resetting it with a pin but the button would not push down.
Can anybody help?
This is one of the two possibilities. 1. Your Ethernet cable is done and you need a new one or 2. The wi-fi antenna (inside your IPhone) might no longer be good anymore. If it connects to other connections elsewhere, then try either resetting your router and if that doesn't work, then you might have to call the hotline of the router company to ask for more information.
- What's the difference between a cheap router and a good router? Just wanted to know the difference between a cheap router and an expensive router, I know that is a very broad question, I'm just a bit confused on how a router works. Does it increase my Internet speed on multiple devices? I get 50Mb per second, Well at least that's what I pay for. I have a PS3 two iPhones and a tablet, as well as a desktop PC that is wireless. Can anyone recommend an excellent router under $150
