Why won't my iPod 4th Generation have the new iOS7 update but my Dad's old iPhone will?
Apple did not feel like supporting an older, cheaper device. Also, there would probably be significant performance issues, as the iPhone 4 has double the RAM.
Not enough ram. It's already slow enough with iOS 6
