Wi-Fi and Bluetooth greyed out after water damage on iPhone 5S?

I dropped my iPhone 5S in water. I didn't have anything to dry it with, but a towel. I tried to turn it off, but it turned itself on again. Now my Wi-Fi is greyed out, and Bluetooth is constantly circling. I haven't backed it up for a long time. And I'm on vacation without any computer.

Put it in a dry bag of rice and leave it there for some hours. It will absorb the water from the guts of your phone. If you do this fast enough, it still might work… Maybe…

Drying the outside isn't the problem. Inside is the problem. Moisture is playing around with circuits and boards and trying to fry them. Moisture has to come out of it if there's any chance of getting functionality back. This can take time. Best luck.

  • Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
  • Songs on iPhone won't play and are greyed out? When I go to my iPod on my iPhone 4 (OS 7.0.3), and tap on a random song to play, it will be greyed out, with the downloading circle next to it, and the next song is played instead. When I plug it into my iTunes and try to sync the songs again, this will resolve the problem for that song, but another song gets greyed out when I try to play it. Is this because I upgraded the OS? How do I permanently fix this?
  • Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
  • IPhone screen very dim after water damage? And a temperature warning? I dropped my iPhone 4 in water about 2 days ago, and I tried turning it on today. It seems to turn on, but the screen is very very dim. Like, you can just barely make out the display when the device is held on an angle. From what I made out, there's a temperature warning on the screen. Also, the flash is slightly lit up? Is there anything I can do, or is this a lost cause?
