Wi-Fi goes on and off on my iPhone 4s?
I use my iphone with Wi-Fi only when i'm home and, sometimes the Wi-Fi in my phone goes off for a few seconds and then comes on again. When it goes off i check the router and i see its working fine and i even have connection on my computer but not on my phone. I never take the phone out of range from the router and it stills goes on and off. Is it a problem with my phone? Or is it my router? I have IOS 6 and the connections issues are become more frequents.
Added (1). I forgot to mention that, when i go to the Wi-Fi settings, the phone recognize other connections but mine for a few seconds and that's when the Wi-Fi goes off because i only use my connection.
Hmm,
i think you should find the make/model number of your router and do a firmware upgrade.
i know my younger bro had a similar problem like this with his HTC One X and my elder bro with a samsung galaxy S3. They both using 2 different routers and had the same problem as you described.updating router firmware cured this problem.
and its weird coz the laptops worked fine but the phones didn't.
but try it, you have nothing to lose. Just make sure you have the right firmware for you specific router. Thats important.
- Will iPhone 4 keep recording video if it automatically goes off? I want to use my iPhone 4 as a dash camera. My question is, do I need to set it so that the backlight doesn't come on, that is, so that it doesn't turn off automatically? In other words, will my phone keep recording video if it turns off automatically?
- Why does the sound of my iPhone goes off while it's charging Why does the sound of my iPhone 3GS goes off while it's charging? Yesterday I updated my iOS 4.3.3 to 6.1.3, and today, I plugged it to the charger while music was playing, and the speakers.kinda.turned off. But the "play" emblem was still there. When I unplugged the charger, the music proceeded playing. What's the problem?
- The alarm goes off at times I haven't set on my iPhone5 (last year's). WTF? I work shifts and I set it every week on a different shift pattern. I previously thought I set it to go off at the wrong time but it has definitely gone off at a time I didn't set. The time it went off, that alarm was in the off position with no days assigned to it at the time. It wasn't the shift I had last week either (it didn't get it mixed up/carry it over from last week). What can I do?
