Wi-Fi on new iPhone 5 won't work?
I just got my iPhone 5 2days ago and I tried to connect it to my home Wi-Fi but it kept saying unable to connect? But I can connect it on my iPod touch?
Without any details it is impossible to say where the problem lies.
Is your network name listed in the Wi-Fi section of the Settings? If it is and you tap the arrowhead to its right does it list an IP address having been allocated to the phone?
Have you tried turning the router off and on again?
Does the router have security settings that prevent unknown devices being able to use it? If so you will need to add the phone's MAC address (shown as Wi-Fi address in the Settings) to the list of known devices on the router.
- With my new iPhone 7 plus if I set it up as a new phone instead of moving my iCloud data to the new phone would I lose my? Unlimited data plan and phone number or would that still be there I already put my SIM card in 10 points
- Why won't my iPhone earbuds work on my iPhone but work fine on a computer? So I have the worst luck with earbuds and it happens to be reoccurring. I have a normal iPhone 5 and I enjoy music but when I listen to my songs only one earbud will work while the other one is dead. I can go on my computer and they will both work so I was wondering why they both won't work on my phone?

So I figured that I could get a sim only deal on Orange (same network as before) and keep using it. But I've picked up the sim today and it won't work. My old charger has broken and I recently got a new one but it won't work in my computer or in the wall. I've cleaned out the charging port from 90% of the dust. I have a fake iPhone charger which I got off eBay, that broke last night but before it broke it would work fine with charging my phone so I don't see why it won't charge now?
