Wi-Fi won't connect to some devices?
I recently moved into a new condo complex. The place comes with Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi will only connect to my iPhone and ipad. It won't even show up to my laptop, my roommates MacBook, or my PS3. The router is an all in one router/modem. Any ideas why it works perfectly with some devices, but I can't even see it on other devices?
Answer 1: if you are using your phone or tablet on internet like on google now it won't work so you have too go off inter net on every think
answer 2: type the Wi-Fi pass
The Wi-Fi encryption is not compatible with your other devices, whoever set up the Wi-Fi in the condo complex would need to change their encryption to WPA2-PSK AES which is compatible with other deices, they should also make sure the security is set on b/g/n mixed mode.
- Would there be a benefit of having bluetooth 4.0 if some devices use older versions? I have the iPhone 5 which supports BLE 4.0 and also own a pebble watch which also supports 4.0. My car however only supports bluetooth 1.2. Does this mean I will not experience the battery benefits of BLE since I will still need to connect to my car which is on the older 1.2 version of bluetooth?
- Wi-Fi not working on some devices? I have several wireless devices in my home. Lately one of them will not respond to the Wi-Fi and when the password is entered, it says "unable to connect to network". This happens with Ipad 2 and Iphone one will work and the other will not- and the reverse.

When we try to connect it say it can't find the IP address. They all work on other networks. We have a WEP network, or something like that.
