Will 300 megabytes of data be enough for an iPhone 4s?

Will 300 megabytes of data be enough for an iPhone 4s?

300Megs: enough? Probably not.

I've got Sprint on my smartphone. Their service is iffy at best most of the time. That means that over 80% of the time, I can't get more than 2 or 3 bars of signal strength on 3G in the St Louis, Missouri metropolitan area. I mostly use the phone for streaming Pandora, monitoring 4 email accounts and responding to email, keeping my calendar, buying products on Amazon and researching things on Google. Occasionally I'll watch a Netflix movie. But I still average over 2.5 gigabytes of bandwidth used per month.

I use 3G service the most. I can't use the Wi-Fi network at the office (corporate policy). 4G is available at my office, but not at my house (even though Sprint shows my house in the middle of their 4G service area).

Absolutely never! Unless you have your data turned off, or you don't have much use for the internet. 300 Megabytes will be used by background apps, and/or light use of the internet easily!
If you're a heavy internet user you will go through it in about a week or so
If you use streaming services such as Spotify or (heaven forbid) Youtube you will go through 300 Megabytes from 1 hr 30 to 5 hours, depending on the streaming bit rate. Youtube being the worst, but Spotify (especially on extreme quality) won't be that far behind.

Best bet would be to get at least 1GB (gigabyte) of data if you intend on using the net a lot, or unlimited data if you're into a lot of streaming.

However, you would get it to last longer by using Wi-Fi whenever possible, especially at home. I use Wi-Fi at home and at university to use a bit less data on 3G.
