Will 4g/3g use data just being on?
I have an iPhone with 3G and I tend to leave it (the 3Gon. However, I rarely actually use it to browse the internet, for example. I'm set up with the smallest data plan available (I don't remember exactly how many mbs I'm allowed per month). My question is whether having my 3G on, but not actually using it, will count towards my mb total for the month.
Some apps will update and sync in the background, so yes it will use some data.
Turn off the 3G when you're not using it, or use Wi-Fi.
- Why does my iphone use data over night when cellular data is turned off? Every night I turn off cellular data and leave the iPhone on and one day I wake up and check my data manager and see i have already used 25 MB please help!
- When you have Wi-Fi and cellular data on at the same time, does it use cellular data? If I keep my cellular data on and also have my iPhone connected to Wi-Fi, will it use any of my cellular data?
- My iPhone 5S (iOS 7.1.2) battery went from being 19% to 30% just as I plugged it in? My phone battery was at 19% so I plugged it in to my cable (mophie 3 metre/9.9ft lightning cable) and it immediately jolted to 30% in about a second. Is my cable made from unicorn horn or it just a bug?
- Just got an iPhone 7, should I use my old earbuds with the dongle/lightning connector or use the ones that came in the box? I'm not sure which I should use first. Use the lightning connector with the earbuds I've been using or should I use the earbuds that come with it that just plug into that charging hole? Sorry I'm not so good at deciding.
