Will an Apple Store refuse service for a jailbroken iPhone?
I have an iPhone 6 with a cracked screen. I have scheduled a Genius Bar appointment to have my phone repaired, however my phone is jailbroken. I know it voids warranty and I don't have warranty to begin with, I'm paying for the repair completely. Since the screen is a hardware thing and wouldn't matter if I was jailbroken or not, I was just curious because I don't want to have wasted my time for them to refuse service to me.
They should still be able to fix the screen as long as you are willing to pay for it
- Where is the best place to buy an iPhone 4s: the Verizon store or the Apple store? I don't have an upgrade until January but am looking to buy an iPhone soon. I've been looking at the various sites and saw that there was a huge price difference between the Apple and Verizon stores. A rep at the Verizon store told me I wouldn't even have to change my existing plan, but just pay the $449 for the phone. Why would I buy an iPhone 4s from Verizon for $449.99 when they're sold on the Apple website for $99?
- What happens if you take a jailbroken iPhone or iPod to an Apple Store genius? Do they give you the "stink eye?" Do they say "I'm sorry ma'am but we can't help with hacked devices?"
- Verizon store or apple store for a new iphone 5? Verizon said I can get an Iphone 5 for "Using my upgrade + $199).Is it true that I can get an iphone 5 at the apple store for $199? If true, Why would I use an upgrade at verizon and pay the same amount for the phone?
- Should I buy my iPhone at the Apple Store or the Verizon store? The plans and the phones themselves cost the exact same; the difference is the care plan. I just can't decide which one is best for me and I definitely want some sort of plan. Apple care is an upfront cost, but it is cheaper. I don't know how long either last, or which one takes care of the customers the best. Any opinions?
