Will an external audio card help solve static noise?

I just bought a brand new Lenovo Thinkpad and I realised that there's static sound or maybe white noise sound when i have my headphones plugged in(ink'ed skull candy with mic) and it is pretty bad. I was wondering is there a way to fix this? The computer has good specs, i will post them down below and the headphone jack is on the right side.

Will buying an external audio card fix this problem? Or is there any other methods i could employ to fix this annoying problem? Maybe even configure something within the Dolby sound settings?
The headphones themselves are not it because they work fine on other comps and iphones.

What do you think?

Most people do not notice the difference between a headset
and a headset with a Mic.

if you look at the connector it should have four connections.
a pc only has 3 connections.
in order to use a product with speakers and mic, you need to convert
the four connections to two separate cables, one 3 connector mic cable and
one 3 connector speaker cable.

in the meantime do nont plug this device into a pc, unless it has an APPLE style
mic/speaker combination socket that expects a four connection plug. The
noise is what is happening to your circuits, and its not good for them.

  • What is a good audio editing software for Mac to remove background noise? I want to remove some of the background noise from some recordings I have of my college class's lecture that I recorded on my phone. I was curious if there are any programs for Mac that audiophiles would recommend. It would mostly be removing any sharp noises in the background that are distracting like doors closing or people coughing. Also, if it matters, I was curious if there were iPhone apps for recording that would improve my ability to do this other than the built in voice memos app?
  • What causes the rattling noise in the new iPhone 5 and is it bad it makes this noise? Near the proximity sensor when i shake the phone back and forth something inside rattles and it is beginning to concern me.
  • My iphone 6 is makind very loud static noise? I was watching a video on the facebook app and turned on the sound but instead of music or talking there was very loud static noise although i had the sound on at lowest. I thought it was just the app so i quit and and opened it but whenever i tried to put on the sound there was the static again. I then tried to listen to music but whenever i pressed the play button, once again, there was very loud static noise. I tried to restart my iphone but it did nothing. Any advise?
  • My IPHONE 4 DIED? STATIC NOISE? I was texting on my Iphone, suddenly the iphone started playing Static noise out of the ear speaker for 20 seconds, the next moment the iphone froze up totally. Now i can't start the Iphone again. What's the issue? I tried to do that. It doesn't work.
