I was planning to ask my sister who lives in us to buy me an i phone 5 will it work in india? What is the procedure of unlocking it? Please any body help me who has experience in it. And teel me the loation where it will be unlocked

Listen listen listen, if You live in India then please please don't buy an i-Phone model, because The ''Siri'' feature in it can be a little difficult while in searching, also as far as in my experience you'll get really bored out of it within a month. The only thing i like about the i-Phone 5 is it's Camera and Leight Weight thing. Instead, buy a Samsung Galaxy S4 or 3 cause it's the suitable phone to a country like India. But Please DO NOT BUY an I-PHONE 5 while you're in India

You should buy unlocked version of iPhone, then it'll work. So just make sure she get the unlocked version.
