Will Apple give me a new iPhone 5 with these problems?
For starters, my iPhone 5's down volume key doesn't work. Along with that my sound has been fuzzy. When I'm not having a problems with my sound, I'm having problems with sending messages to non iPhone's and my phone freezing and not being able to turn on. I'm still not done unfortunately, the battery also drains insanely fast and over heats both the phone and cord. My phone has never been this bad. All the problems are new and seem to be happening more and more as the days go by. My phone is covered by the one year warranty but I don't know what that really means. It's not apple care though, it's the standard warranty for all products. My phone hasn't been exposed to water and I haven't dropped it. I'm positive of that. I've only had the phone for 5 months and it's really not fair if they are just going to give me a refurbished one when the problems aren't my fault. I'm taking my phone next weekend to apple but I can't wait for an answer.
Yes go return it but don't get your hopes too high because they might not even take it because you only had a 1 month guarantee ( you have extended to a 1year warranty, thats what i did). You should go see them As soon as possible.
If so, you can complain to them and tell them to check it.
If Apple really did give you that kind of iPhone 5, i think you can sue them because of giving those problems to a new iPhone 5.
but i think they can't do that, they must have quality check and etc.before selling the iPhones.

I've heard this could he battery failure or something. If I went to my local apple store, will I be able to get a new one? And Yes, I did purchase apple care warranty.
