Will Apple replace my Iphone 4? - 1
My lock button on my phone jammed randomly for no reason and no longer works. I took my phone to verizon and they said they could not replace it with out a $169 fee because of apparent water damage (I have not dropped my phone in water). My phone still works fine but someone told me apple would replace it. Is this true?
Nope.water damage iphone are not covered under apples warranty.

But i looked on apple.com and entered serial number and it still has warranty till 2014. Will they replace the iphone 4s. Or do i have to have them transfer the warranty to me or does it not matter?

If I were to being it to Apple, would they give me a new iPhone 5, or a 5S? I was just wondering because the iPhone 5 is no longer made or sold by Apple.
