Will Facebook work in China if I use the app on my iphone?
I know Facebook in china is blocked, but will it make a difference if I use the app on my iphone. Has anybody here been to china and tried this?

I haven't tried it but i do not think it will work, since you will be using their Wi-Fi or network which has blocked facebook.
It won't work. You could use a Proxy but it would be slow and you might get in trouble.
No. And if / when you get caught.they'd shut your service off. The Chinese don't joke.
Unless you are willing to pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars for data in a foreign country, DO NOT use your iPhone there! One way around this is if you have them block foreign towers from accessing your phone for data.AT&T can do this, as they did it for my BlackBerry when I first got here so that I could still phone home to say I had arrived. I don't know if Verizon can but they probably can. And if you still use your iPhone I would say that facebook would still be blocked as you'd be using Chinese towers.
It'd be easier if you used a VPN to access facebook on a regular computer.
- Will my verison iPhone 4 work in China? I'm going to China for 10 days in November and I'm worried that my phone won't have service being I'm from The USA. I have Verison and its an iPhone 4. Will it possibly have Internet but not be able to text or make calls. I've heard that it will text but no calls and I've heard that nothing will work, not even Internet. So I'm just trying to get a real answer. Does anyone know from experience or work for verison or something?
- Will my iPhone 5S still work in China? I'm going to China tomorrow and I was wondering if my iPhone will still work. I don't mean use it for calling and using the Internet, I mean can I still use it to play games that is already on my phone? I'm planning to put it on airplane mode the whole time I'm there.
- Will a VPN on a Iphone allow you to go on facebook on China? The VPN i use is this www.freecanadavpn.com. It sets up and works and has the VPN sign on the top. But if i travelled to china would it allow me to go on Facebook, youtube… On the iphone connecting to a local Wi-Fi network? When i connect it doesn't tell me to like select a different location or IP address. So i'm not sure if this just works as a hotspot shield or if it actually allows you to go on facebook in china.
- Unlocked iphone from att, can I use it in hongkong/china? I'm going to get my iphone from att unlocked by them. After they unlock it, can I use it in china? How? Do I just by those sim cards and enter the number into the phone? Viola?
