Will getting my iPhone 4S unlocked by my carrier void my warranty?
I'm currently on T-Mobile, but wish to switch to GiffGaff. If I ring up T-Mobile and pay the required cost to get it unlocked, will it void my warranty?

Yesterday I called apple because my lock screen button had been pushed in, I was told that as long as it hadn't been dropped, which it hadn't, that it should be replaced at the spot but I'd have to bring it into an apple store. Now what's worrying me is that there's a few scratches around my lock button because I used to like wearing long acrylic nails and using them to take debris out of in between the button.
