Will I be charged by using my 3G data even if I'm not connected to Wi-Fi?
So currently I have no Internet but I do have an iPhone 4S 16GB and my plan is Sprint's unlimited everything plan so I'm able to use the Internet still on my phone. But does anybody know if it'll charge me extra even if I have unlimited data since I'm not connected to Wi-Fi because usually I use my phone's Internet all the time but it's usually connected to Wi-Fi. Does anybody know if I may get charged?
No it won't, your plan gives you unlimited data meaning that you can use your 3G to no limit. No extra charges.
You must be worried since the iPhone stated 'additional usage charges may apply' It said may meaning it has a possibility that it may or may not charge you extra. You can use your internet anyway you want, like you said it's unlimited. Wi-Fi is just a type of internet/data connection to a device and its not like you're using another plan or anything.
- Will I get charged for using Wi-Fi when my Sprint data plan is shut off? If I turn off the data plan for my iPhone 5 (with the intention if turning it back on), will I get charged for using the Internet using Wi-Fi?
- Will I get charged for using 3G Internet if I have the unlimited data plan? My carrier is Sprint. I have an iPhone 4. I'm asking if I'll be charged if I don't use Wi-Fi.
- Will i be charged for texts on iPhone even though i turned off cellular data and enable 3G? I have turned off my cellular data and 3G believing that everything of texts web browsing etc. Is all based on Wi-Fi. I know imessage won't charge me even though i'm on Wi-Fi. However if i were to text someone who does not have an iphone and it isn't imessage will i still be charged? Because sending messages to them works with my cellular data and 3g off but will i be charged or even charged more since it is off?
- On AT&T, will I be charged data if using 3g/4g, with an LTE plan? I have a 30$ per month LTE plan on my iPhone 6, and noticed an option to turn off lte, restricting me to 4g or 3G. Is this still going to charge usage on my account?
