Will I lose anything on my iPhone if I make IOS 6.1.3 update?
I'm hesitant in whether to download the latest software update on my iPhone 4S. I'm Afraid I lose my phone content, apps, pictures, and contacts… Now some people said that I'll lose then and others said no. Can any experienced person tell me please if I'll lose them or not?
No you won't loose things like contacts, pictures, music etc.
However if you have any apps that don't work in the new os it may take them off your screen but you can get them back from iTunes under the purchased tab. ITunes holds all apps ever purchased even ones you deleted.
I suggest you sync your iPhone with iTunes on your computer before you load the update in case you need it but I have updated both iPads and iPhones to that ios with no issues.
Make sure your phone is at full power or plugged in as it takes awhile for the update to run. If I recall it took between 15 minutes to 1/2 hour to finish and needs minimum battery power of 60% but will tell you it needs 80%.
When your done you will have the new apps that come with the upgrade too.
- Will I lose my jailbreak and how come I can't update to ios 6? My iPhone 4 is factory unlocked and it's jailbroken. I tried to update to ios 6 but it pops up saying error occur and it pops up to click close or settings. It didn't say anything about what's the error. So it won't let me complete the update.
