Will I lose everything if I update to iOS9?

My iPhone 5s is jailbroken and I'm still at iOS 8.1.2. I want the new emojis so badly and I'm willing to lose my jailbreak to update to iOS 9, but will I lose everything I've saved (such as photos, messages, apps, music, etc.) since I've jailbroken my phone (in January 2014)? Or will I just simply lose the jailbreak and still have everything else?
I remember I've restored my phone before to try to remove the jailbreak, but it ended up deleting everything I've saved since I jailbroke it and the jailbreak was still there.

After the iOS update you will lose your jailbreak. Also do backup of your iPhone so no data lose. But for safe and secure use of iPhone, do install Leo Privacy Guard afterwards. It will make your device utmost security.

Yes, you will lose your jailbreak after updating. You should backup your iPhone first.

  • Why won't my iPhone 4s charge properly after ios9 update? I updated my iphone4s to ios9 a few days ago and ever since then, it hasn't been charging properly. I'll plug it in and it'll go up to 80 percent and it won't go past that. I've had it plugged in all afternoon (about 8 plus hrs already) and it's still at 80 percent. Is there a way I can fix it? Is it because of ios9?
