Will I lose everything in my iPhone if I jailbreak it?
I really wanna jailbreak my iPhone 4, but I'm scared I'm gonna to lose anything in my phone. I know I can back it up on iTunes, but what about my text messages? I Really don't want to lose them.
I don't know but I wouldn't jailbreak it. It could be ruined. Apperently there's a right and a wrong way of doing it. But I just wouldn't. So what if it's free. If nits broken you will have to buy a new one.

it gets unjailbreaked every time you update it, and if it's damaged apple won't replace it due to jailbreaking it.
I've had my 4S jailbroke since I got it. No problems and well worth it. If you have insurance on the phone don't even worry about replacements. Just drive over it with a car when it breaks and they won't even look to see if it was jailbroken. Apple only looks at the phone if you request a refund through them for a manufacturing issue. I have insurance through Verizon so I get it replaced through Verizon without needing to contact Apple (not that I've needed to)
