Will my iPhone 5c work while traveling overseas?
I'm a first-time traveler, and in one month I'll be flying to Scotland from America. I'll be going alone, but I don't know what to do if I need to make a call. So my main two questions are:
- Can I make calls using my iPhone 5c while in Scotland?
- If not, can I still use Wi-Fi signals for things like Skype calls (since I have the app installed)?
- If I can't do either of these, what do I need to do if I need to use a mobile phone?
Thanks in advance!
Added (1). *main three questions
Why not? Dear. But i'm afraid iphone 5c is not as inner strong as iphone 5s, perhaps, i mean, eheheh… But yours is still better than other smart cell phones…

- Will iphone 5 work as ipod overseas? I have an iphone 5 with AT&T. I will travel this week and I was wondering if my phone will work overseas as an ipod on the places that have internet. My phone is not unlocked. I just want to use it for a few days there.
- Will I be charged if I receive an oncoming call while traveling abroad? I'm traveling abroad and taking my iPhone. I don't have an international package so I'm not planning on making any calls or sending messages. However, what if someone calls me instead? What will happen if I ignore the call and let it go straight to voicemail? Will I get charged for it?
- Will an iPhone bought in the US work overseas? I recently bought an iPhone 6 from AT&T in the US, but I'm moving to China in a few weeks, and I'm wondering if I can still use my phone there. I have a few relatives who work in China, and they suggest that I use China Unicom, so I'm using that carrier. Is there any way I can unlock the phone, or just be able to use the phone in China?
