Will my iphone apps still be saved if I replace the screen without backing up data on the icloud?
I tried backing up my data on icloud a few days ago, but some apps did not backup because it said it needed a certain amount of space on my phone to do so. My screen is now damaged, and I will get it replaced. Will my messages and apps still be on there once the new screen is installed?
Hm, not sure whether the iPhone needs to be reset during the screen replacement operation. It is always good to back up your iPhone before doing something radical as changing your screen. If you don't want to back up the apps and app data via iCloud, use this free beta tool instead to keep the app backup on your computer instead: http://www.copytrans.net/copytransapps.php
- Will turning off iCloud Backup after backing up iPhone delete data? So I'm about to get a new iPhone and going to transfer everything via iCloud Backup. I have never done this since i've been having the same iPhone for years now. My question is, if I back up my entire data on iCloud, backup my phone and then turn off the setting, would it delete everything in my new phone?
- Why is my iphone not backing up to iCloud? When I try to back up my iphone it says backing up, estimating time remaining then stops. What do I do?
- Is there a difference between backing up your iphone on icloud and itunes? I reset my phone and couldn't find the backup on iTunes however I found it on iCloud, is there any difference between the backup?
