Will my Iphone battery explode?
I have an Iphone 3GS
At first it wouldn't last more than 30 minutes without charging, then one day the battery started expanding, making a crack in the back case.
I can see the battery from the crack, it had expanded but yesterday my small cousin decided it would be fun to pop a small hole with a needle in the battery from that crack
I can smell some kind of patex-super glue odor coming out of that tiny hole
What are the chances of the battery exploding with the phone in my hands?
Lol, throw it away before y'all end up all covered up in gooey super glue muck.
Oh, remember the iPhone 6 is coming out real soon now. Just in time to upgrade.
Please for your own safety, take the battery out and throw it in the bin/trash. Then order yourself a new battery off of Ebay. https://www.ifixit.com/...ement/1545
It might, but it's more likely that it will continue to expand until it destroys your phone. Apple is aware of the problem and insists that it is a safety feature. Don't continue to poke at it. The battery contains toxic and flammable materials.
There's more information in the link I've posted below.
- Will charging my iPhone battery on full brightness increase battery length? If I adjust it to full brightness while charging and once charged 100% adjust it back to a dimmer screen will this increase the battery's life span?
- Will an iPhone 5 battery fit in a iPhone 5s battery? My battery needs replacing on my iPhone 5s but the place I'm getting it replaced only has iPhone 5 batteries, so does anyone know whether the 5 nbattery will work in my 5s?
- Will a very damaged iPhone explode? I have a iphone 4s and it is cracked badly on the back and front and there's literally glass falling off but it stills works and i'm desperate for a phone. I'm not sure when I'm getting a new one but I'm literally scared its gonna explode lmao is that possible?
- Why do phones explode in a microwave? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but I want to know why they explode in when you microwave them… I saw a video somewhere of someone microwaving an iphone and it exploded. What is in the phone that causes it to explode so quickly?
