Will a very damaged iPhone explode?
I have a iphone 4s and it is cracked badly on the back and front and there's literally glass falling off but it stills works and i'm desperate for a phone. I'm not sure when I'm getting a new one but I'm literally scared its gonna explode lmao is that possible?
Only the battery can explode, and that is not likely.
The problems you described are incapable of causing any type of explosion.
Not likely: It takes more to damage the battery than it took to break the glass.
If the battery is damaged there's the possibility of the battery catching on fire. But unless the case has been pierced, damage to the battery is unlikely.
As a 3S user myself, I would guess the phone is off contract. If you want to stay that way, Wal Mart has basic smart phones from around $99. One of these may be fetter that a phone that old that is falling apart.

It's not gonna explode. Just don't use the phone when charging. Use a case or something to hold the broken pieces in place.

- My iphone screen is very dark, but if I look very close, I see the apps slightly? My iphone screen is very dark but I still see the buttons slightly, but I have to look very closely in order to. It is definitely not the brightness, because the brightness is set to 100% and its way too dark anyway. I tried restoring my phone and turning it on and off, but nothing is working. Please help. What do I do? I literally threw it out of anger and its fixed.
