Will my iPhone camera and apps work in England?
I'm going to England for 2 weeks on Tuesday and was wondering if the camera and apps will all work. I don't care about the phone or texting part. Its an iPhone 5 and I have Verizon btw. I'd like to put pictures on Facebook and Twitter/update status/tweet etc. From my phone as well without having to use a computer.
Camera will for sure but the apps it depends on which apps and your ability to get Wi-Fi
If you want to use apps that access the internet you'll either have to find local Wi-Fi or use data roaming.
I can't comment on data roaming - that's an aspect of your contract with Verizon - but it would probably be expensive.
Lots of shops and hotels and some streets in touristy areas offer free Wi-Fi though.
Your camera will work normally.
- Will my iPhone 4 work in England? I'm going overseas this summer and fall for studying, and was wondering if I can have a contract over there, keeping my same iPhone. My carrier is Verizon.
- Will it costs to send an iMessage from England to Ireland and vice versa? Just wondering my boyfriend and I both have iPhones with iMessage and he is away in Ireland for a couple of days. Will iMessage still work and be free for us or does he need Wi-Fi for iMessage to send to me? How will it work out? He is on 02, I'm on orange uk.
- Will an IMEI blocked IPhone from England work in Ireland? I know that a blocked phone from the uk will work in certain countries I.E America, but would an IMEI blocked iPhone from England, work in Ireland ( Dublin to be specific ) For example do England and Ireland share the same IMEI blacklist
- Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
