Will my iPhone work? It got some water inside?
My iPhone got a bit of water inside and it's turning itself on and off all the time.
It wasn't that much water though, The battery is quite low and I'm using it as alarm clock… Worrying now that I shouldn't charge it and I won't wake up in the morning withought it.
Will it be OK if I wait a couple of hours and then try to charge it or will it damage it even more?
It might work a little bit right now but eventually, It's going to die. Put it in a bag of rice. I'm not even joking. The rice will hopefully absorb the moisture from your phone. Do it as soon as possible before it's too late.
Put it in the airing cupboard for a couple of hours or maybe leave it in there all night. That should dry it out.
What Tara Jones said is a good way to absorb the water in your iPhone. My friend dropped her phone in the bath and she put it in rice and now it works fine.

- Water inside screen on iPhone? I just got a couple drops inside my iPhone on accident and now most of the screen is darker in spots? I don't know how to get the water out? I've tried putting it in rice for 12 hours and it didn't do anything!
- Water inside my iphone screen? Ok so i cracked my iphone 4s and so i was fine with all that and stuff, but then i water tested my lifeproof case again and i guess somehow i didn't get all the water out of it? So when i put it back on i guess some water got in the crack and now i can't touch the screen in a lot of places. Any suggestions?
- My iPhone 3GS got wet inside after my water bottle leaked on to it? I've tried putting my phone into a bag off rice for just over a day and the phone still will not turn on. When I press the "on" button at the top, the apple logo does come on however when you look down at it you can see white and pink/bluish marks and just turns itself off again. It keeps repeating. Will i have to get a new iPhone, have to take it into apple or is there another way to resurrect it.
- Is it too late to put iPhone in rice when water dripped inside? If a little bit of water dripped into the bottom of my iPhone 4S, is it too late to put it into rice 24hrs later when I believe the water is already dried. My volume doesn't work, only headphones do.
