Will my normal sim card work in iphone4?

Basically I have a blackberry but my mums got a new iPhone so she's giving me her iPhone 4. I know I need to make my sim card into a micro one but will my blackberry data plan work on the iPhone?

Your black berry data will work on it but you would need a micro sim. You can't cut normal sim into Micro sim.

You can get a MicroSIM Cutter to cut down your SIM card
or a Phone stall at a market will do it for you.

BUT in addition
you will also need to turn off your blackberry data plan and select an Apple data plan - most networks use a different data access point (APN) for apple and defeintely for blackberry.

So after you change the SIM card size,
you may need to ring the network and tell them you have an iPhone now - but try it and see first
